OVERVIEW
Sliding into a deep pool
Sliding is a unique and fun way to get down a waterfall. Flumes, slides or toboggans are formed in the canyon from the river eroding the rock.
Slides can be different in length, height, trajectory and volume of water. With increased height, angle and volume water slides get faster and can become potentialy dangerous.

BASIC PRINCIPLES
Let’s look at some basic safety principles for sliding.

As we descend the slide we should always check how slippery the approach is, we must check that the slide has no hindrance or big gaps in the rock and that it is smooth.
