06【连词】 Conjunction

 

1，连词的位置

 连词+ S V O + 主语+动词+（宾语）+ 连词+ S V O

《连词+主语+动词》：此结构修饰整句话，出现在副词的位置

 

2，状语从句中的连词

主语+动词+宾语  +  连词 + 主语+动词+宾语

• 确认两个动词的时态一致

 

3，并列连词 / 关联连词

a coordinate conjunction / correlation conjunction

3.1 并列连词

 But, or, yet, for, and, nor, so, rather than

 - 这些连词 由于后句的重复部分可以省略， 所以注意前后的词性一致 （so和for 例外，后边跟完成的句子）

 例）

Please be sure that the ticket is nonrefundable and non-transferable to any others.

3.2  关联连词

Both ~ and Either ~ or Neither ~ nor Not only ~ but also Not ~ but

注意前后主谓一致，除了both~and，其他都是就近原则，动词的单复数和离他近的一致

 

4，时间，条件状语从句连接词

A，时间连词

After, before Until Since 主句用现在完成 When = at the time   By the time 什么的时候，主句用完成时态 As soon as = once 一什么就  动作完成，不能跟进行时态 While 在什么的期间，while you are on duty, 表同时，考虑前后时态一致

 

B，条件连词

If Unless Provided / providing that Considering (that) Given that In case As long as Once Only if

 

C，时间，条件状语从句的连词特征

• 包含将来时态，现在时态代替将来时态，主将从现

时间/条件 连词 + S + V(现在时态)， S + V（将来时态）

• 重复的主语+be动词 省略的时候，补语可以用分词，介词短语，形容词连接

 

5, 让步/原因/目的 状语从句连词

A， 让步

Although, even though, even if, though, while, whereas

Whether ~ or not

However + 形容词/副词

 

B，原因

Because，as, since, now that, in that

 

C, 目的

In order that, so that

So + 形容词/副词+ that

Such + 句子（名词句） + that
