Peter Burt, Edward Adelson	The  Laplacian  Pyramid  as  ACompact Image Code	虽说这个Laplacian Pyramid是有冗余的，但使用起来非常简单方便，对理解小波变换也非常有帮助。这位Adelson是W.T.Freeman的老板，都是大牛.
J Canny	A Computational Approach to Edge Detection	经典不需要解释。在 Sonka的书里面对这个算法也有比较详细的描述。
S Mallat.	A  theory  for  multiresolution  signal decomposition:  The  wavelet representation	Mallat的代表作
M Kass, A Witkin, D  Terzopoulos.	Snakes: active contour models	Deformable model的开山鼻祖。
RM HARALICK	Textural Features for Image Classification	这三篇都是关于纹理特征的，虽然过去这么多年了，现在在检索和识别中依然很有用。
