how to register, create, and use your own hierachical core level dft signal, and set the value as needed.
User specified dft signals are registered and creaded in context dft. This can be done for example, during edt and occ insertion.
At the hierarchical core level, first register the dft signal names using " register_static_dft_signal_names, and specify their default values:
register_static_dft_signal_names tc_dft_signal_0 -usage global_dft_control -default_value_in_all_test 0The default usage is global_dft_control: used to control global resources like clocking and power.
These dft signals are set to the default values specified above, in all test modes.
Next add these dft signals. In this example, we specify that they be created with a TDR (Test Data Register).
add_dft_signals tc_dft_signal_0 -create_with_tdrStatic DFT signals typically controlled through a Test Data Register (TDR) that is part of the IJTAG network. The value can be set using set_static_dft_signal_value
