Because in the previous part, it take so many times to run a recon-all command, so use the parallel to run several recon-all at the same times, which can help us save time.

check how many job we can run at the same time

In the first step, we need to check how many cpu we have because one cpu can run one recon-all at the same time.

sysctl hw.physicalcpu hw.logicalcpu

the output show:

hw.physicalcpu: 8
hw.logicalcpu: 8

The second line tells us that we can run 8 jobs at the same time.
