Nightmare 噩梦传说(转)

Nightmare - Jack Jarkvik 20120503a

Last night I had a nightmare. I had fallen ill and needed hospital care. The doctor I met told me they needed to operate on me, cutting me open and remove soimething bad inside my body. I was told to come back a few days later to have the operation performed. When I came I was told I would have to wait a few hours because there were more urgent cases before me. It turned out I had to wait in the waiting room. While waiting I found documents about the hospital and since I had nothing to do I read those documents. The documents told me that the hosapital was operating based on American standards. A large American hospital had helped this hospital to organize everything in the best possible manner. The were high quality standards, many experienced doctors worked in the hospital quality department. There was a large planning department making sure the hospital used good planning methods and did good planning to make sure patients would not have to wait to get treatment. Many experienced doctors worked in the planning department. Also the hospital had many managers responsible for all sorts of aspects. There seamed to be several ,managers responsible for every possible kind of important aspect of hospital operation. All the managers were experienced doctors now spending their time managing different idssues. There was an HR department making sure only the best students from the best universities were employed and making sure that all managers were given new jobs often to give each and everyone a broad experience of hospital operation. Because of the very strict processes followed the hospital could guarantee that no individual doctor would be needed for good results. Decisions on how to treat each patient would be made in large meetings where doctors would vote about what treatment to offer. I was almost beginning to believe that this was a good hospital. When I was in the operating room about to become unconscious a very young person came up the me to present himself. My thought was what such a young person was doing there. He answered my question by saying that he was the one that would perform the operation. He said this was an exciting event for him because I was his first patient. I said "but you are so young....". I remember him saying before I became unconsious that all doctors operating on people are beginners. Noone wants to treat patients because the work is so badly paid and the status is so low. As soon as you have a little experience you try to get an easier job that is better paid.
At this point I woke up - not feeling good at all! But I immediately thought that I am very happy that Huawei is not running hospitals!
