1 Scope of Work GE Water and Process Technologies (GE W&PT) needs allocation of dedicated developers for change of IP connection development in the Insight application which is part of the current GE W&PT applications as Tier 2 application. The business cover hours for the application will be same like the other applications (8x5 Desktop) and will be supported from offshore. Please refer to below statement for the In Scope and Out of scope details hereafter. Insight CCR Name change: --- Throughout the entire application, we must change from the name "InSight" to the new name "TrueSense View Web" This change needs to be implemented and on the production server by July 1, 2010. This includes all internet pages, reports, charts, data upload files, terms/conditions, warnings, and help files. Note: This CCR also includes extension for IP connectivity change Please refer to the schedule file for details. 1.1 In Scope The scope of the work for this engagement involves the following services for GE W&PT. Modifications 1) Team will work on the extension for IP connectivity change including UAT support and bug fix, prod move, and post prod support; 2) Team will work on the name change throughout Insight application including web pages, reports, charts, data upload files, terms/conditions, warnings and help files; 1.2 Out of Scope The following services for GE W&PT will be out of scope. 1. for extension of IP connection: a. major change which takes significant effort and is not agreed by both business and developers; 2. for name change: a. references to Insight from inside other applications; b. Insight name in documents uploaded by users directly; c. Insight name in comments or inputs uploaded by users directly; d. Insight name hardcoded in chart/report configuration files such as .rtp, .tpl files 3. Activities which is not mentioned in In Scope and not agreed by both business and our team 4. Any activity related to Network. 5. Any activity related to Server. 6. Any activity related to Third party tools change. 7. Any activity related to Hardware. 8. Any activity related to DBA. 9. Any activity assigned to GE personnel. 10. Any activity not related to Insight application. 1.3 Assumptions 1. Business can finish UAT of IP connection by Jun 11 2010. 2. Team can only put 100% effort on name change after the post prod support of IP connection is done; 3. Two resources will work on the code change of name change; 4. IM owner will communicate the new prod date of name change to business and get their agreement; 5. Both changes will move to prod through emergency process immediately after UAT sign off is provided; 6. Any extra change which was not included in attached text file will not be included unless agreed by both business and the team.
