答案是否定的，因为不管什么样的产品，最终呈现给用户的是UI层的功能，所以产品才需要招聘大量的测试人员进行UI层的功能测试。这些形形色色的测试金字塔，都是传统的自动化测试金字塔模型，都是很棒的视觉隐喻，可以让人思考不同层次的测试，还会告诉我们在每个测试层要做多少测试。让机器做最擅长的重复性工作，让测试人员做一些有挑战的有意义的探索性测试。分析测试金字塔，讲的都是理论上的内容，实际的自动化测试实践，大多数情况都变成了倒着的测试金字塔，UI层成了我们投入最多的地方，依次是service层和unit层。

反观手动测试，因为执行测试的是人，而只要有人介入，就有一定的人为出错率，有可能是测试时漏了某个动作，导致测试要重来；但若我们从另一个角度来探讨，自动化测试基本上只有第一次撰写时最花时间，后续执行测试时，都是以秒来计算而且是让计算机自动执行测试程序来进行测试，只要测试脚本没问题，那计算机就会以正确的方式进行测试。因为对应的程序逻辑根本尚未开发，因此一定都不符测试预期，这时小B再开始开发各功能的程序逻辑，并在每次开发完一项功能时，就执行该功能相关的各测试案例，直到所有测试案例都被满足的当下，即为开发完成。
