Yahoo! Global R&D Center in Beijing is fully owned and operated by United States based Yahoo! Inc. Trust & Safety team at the center owns the core product that focuses on optimizing Yahoo's traffic quality and enhancing publisher/advertiser engagements with Yahoo ads platform.

We’re looking for people with excellent web developing capability to support and drive Yahoo's efforts in continuing to improve our advertising marketplace. The ideal candidate has strong background in web development and enterprise application engineering. You will work hand in hand with world-class teams and specialize in building high-performance, scalable, cross browser, and elegant web applications that enhance our users’ capability and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Contribute to architecture and implementation of next-generation Yahoo advertising system

Develop rich Javascript enabled applications to provide sophisticated analytics and reporting tools

Assure quality of development and product operation

Partner with web designer, backend engineer, SE, and product owner worldwide to ship quickly

Minimum Requirements

Either BS or MS in computer science or equivalent

At least 3 years experience in web development and frontend engineering

Hand on web development on interactive report/dashboard/data analysis application that can run across browsers

Familiar with web development and web architecture, e.g., HTTP, CSS3, HTML5, JS, DOM, LAMP, MVC, and other web standards

Good knowledge of web security

Good problem solving skills

Ability to work in a fast paced and multi tasking environment

Fast learner and strong sense of ownership of the products he works on

Fluent oral/written English communication

Preferred Job Qualifications

Experience with Scrum, Agile, and processes that ship software faster
