MRP doesn't run at Plant level

Q：When I tried to execute MRP thru MD01 that is not generate an requirements but if I process MRP by single item MD02 that i working fine, I'm not sure if I could missed some configuartion we use PIR as demand, FGI has planning strategy 11, do you hav any idea what could cause this[@more@]

Try the following:
1) Ensure MRP is activated in configuration for the plant (probably is if MD02 works),

2) Run consistency check & reorg planning file entries transactions (MDRE + MDAB?) -
it could be that a planning file entry does not yet exist for the material. This could happen if the material was created before MRP was activated for the plant.
It can also happen if the material was created using a mass update program with direct DB update, then the pl.file entry does not get created.
3) Are you using Time-Phased (TP) planning (MRP Type)? If so, then MD02 works, but MD01 will only run on the day that TP is due to be run.

Note：

if using MDBT or MD01 with processing key = NETCH then planning mode 3 will not show results every time. Only if a change has happened from previous run. (But MD02 / MD03 for a
single material ought to show results even with NETCH).

Even though the "Display MRP List" is checked and no results are shown, have you checked the MRP run date / time at the top of an actual MRP List - does it change day-to-day? If so, then MRP is running, but the problem is that just the MRP Lists are not being displayed.

Next - Try using processing key = NEUPL (i.e. regenerative MRP),with either MD01 or in background with MDBT.

You could also try deleting all the MRP Lists first (MD06?), though I'm not sure if this causes NETCH to run.

**The basic difference between MD01 and MD02 is that MD02 doen not need planning file entry, while in MD01, it is a must**
