EOL

在制造业中，有一个EOL Material Management，负责管理供应商的将要停产的物料。

什么是制造业中的EOL？

EOL是 "End of Life "的缩写，本质上意味着一些物料供应商已经决定有关产品已经达到其 "有效寿命 "的终点。在这个特定的日期之后，制造商将不再营销、售后和（在大多数情况下）销售有关的产品。

What is EOL in manufacturing?

EOL stands for “End of Life,” which essentially means that a vendor like EMC has decided that the product in question has reached the end of its “useful lifespan.” After this particular date the manufacturer will no longer be marketing, sustaining and (in most cases) selling the product in question.

NRND

NRND通常意味着厂商预期或已经发现相应时间段客户用量出现下降，因此该器件很可能在未来的某个时间点停产，不太可能在寿命承诺之后继续生产这个设备。并且此时，我们尚未获知最后采购时间或停产时间。

NRND typically means that we anticipate or that we've seen a decline in customer sales for a given device and thus it is unlikely that we will continue to produce this device beyond our longevity commitment.

NRND的原因:

1.器件已经计划停产，或者已经停产有少量库存。

2.有替代或升级的型号。

所以NRND一般发生在一个物料或产品快进入生命周期后期了，已经不建议新产品设计中使用这颗料。
