nmc$show appliance license
check current license
Step2:
nmc$setup appliance license
Simply delete trial license and input the comercial license
Step3:
nmc$show appliance licensecheck if comercial license was applied
Step4:
nmc$option expert_mode=1 -s
nmc$!bash
root@node2:/volumes#cd /opt/HAC/RSF-1/etc
root@node2:/opt/HAC/RSF-1/etc#ls -al | grep license
switch nmc to bash,then show orignal HA license file, remeber its timestamp.
Step5:
root@node2:/opt/HAC/RSF-1/etc#exit
nmc$ping www.nexenta.com
Back to NMC,check if your server could connect Internet.
if OK, goto Step6,
if NG, goto Step7
Step6:
nmc$setup appliance upgrade
this makes nexentastor to download latest HA license. then goto Step10;
Step7:
Get md5 value base on your commecial license, below you license is "G104-XXX2A5XXXX1-123456789-JFLDMD", and got md5="71559f38b41b8bda1f69cf913a9ca087"

Step8:
Get new HA license via md5 value

Step9:
root@node2:/tmp#dpkg --force-all -i rsf-1-license_2.0.0_solaris-i386.deb
Step10:
root@node2:/tmp#cd /opt/HAC/RSF-1/etc
root@node2:/opt/HAC/RSF-1/etc#ls -al | grep license
Check the new license file ,especially check if the timestamp is new.
Step11:
root@node2:/opt/HAC/RSF-1/etc#cd ../bin
root@node2:/opt/HAC/RSF-1/bin#./rsfmon -v
root@node2:/opt/HAC/RSF-1/bin#svcadm restart nms
Check new HA license status
For nmv, new license will show up in next hour,if you can not wait please reboot server and make it take effect right now.
