ESP32 S3搭载OV2640摄像头释放热点(AP)工作模式--Arduino程序

一、介绍

最近在给自动驾驶小车做摄像头的硬件选型,考虑到无人驾驶的视觉处理是在客户端完成,PC端需要实时接收到摄像头的图传数据,延迟不能太大,连贯性需要好一些,因此选了这款ESP32-S3-WROOM-1,配备了OV2640摄像头(无畸变80°广角),成本也不超过50。
由于客户端对传回的图像数据要求比较敏感,我是在Arduino中设置好摄像头的相关参数,然后让它自己释放热点,这样对于需要同时启用多个摄像头来说是不错的方案。

二、环境配置

  1. Arduino环境:安装参考Software | Arduino,我安装的版本是2.2.1
  2. 打开Arduino软件,选择文件->首选项,填写开发板地址:https://raw.githubusercontent.com/espressif/arduino-esp32/gh-pages/package_esp32_dev_index.json,点击确定之后,就会去下载这个包。

  1. 安装ESP32的开发环境。点击软件左侧开发板管理器,在弹出的窗口中输入“esp32”,选择esp32 by Espressif Systems进行安装。在这里插入图片描述

三、程序修改和烧录

  1. 插上ESP32 S3板子,选择接口和开发板。点击工具–<开发板”…”–<esp32–<ESP32S3 Dev Module,然后选择好对应的端口,我这里是com14,连接开发板

  2. 配置ESP32S3开发板的参数,参数配置参考下图在这里插入图片描述
  3. 修改示例【视频流web服务器示例】。在文件–>示例–>ESP32–>Camera–>CameraWebServer,找出来的这个示例是需要摄像头连接现场路由的程序,也就是STA工作模式,我们可以先拿出来测试下。在这里插入图片描述
  4. 更改ESP32S3的相关配置。
    (1)摄像头模式选择,只打开“#define CAMERA_MODEL_ESP32S3_EYE”,其他全部屏蔽掉.

    (2)摄像头匹配wifi设置,设置成你电脑此刻连接的WIFI。让开发板连接你的路由。

(3)摄像头的其他参数配置参考。关键的地方,详细的说明我注释了一下。

如果需要更改分辨率,你可以去修改程序里面“config.frame_size”的值,分辨率可以选择。

(5)更改摄像头为OV2640

  1. 完成配置后,点击菜单栏的上传按钮,烧录程序到开发板。

  2. 等待编译和上传完成后,按下开发板上的复位按钮(确保摄像头已接上去),然后打开串口监视器,查看返回的视频流服务器地址。在浏览器打开这个网址就可以看到摄像头拍摄的画面啦。

  1. 修改成AP工作模式,释放热点。这种模式下,无需连接到路由器即可访问 Web 服务器,在刚刚的示例程序上你只需要修改2个地方。
    (1)需要把主程序的代码原来STA工作模式修改成AP工作模式,程序如下:

(3)同样烧录程序到开发板(烧录完成后按一下复位按键以防万一),然后打开电脑Wi-Fi连接该热点,在浏览器输入一个固定的地址“192.168.4.1”就可以查看到摄像头的画面啦,画面的流畅度度感觉会比STA模式更好。

后续会更新一个将摄像头拍摄的画面显示在Tkinter界面上,可以做成一个监控画面啦。
