不完全不及物动词—系动词

1.become:其后可以接任意名词形容词或形容词性的现在分词和过去分词
He become angry.
She is becoming more and more charming.
After failing, he became depressed.

2.turn:只能接和颜色/情绪有关的形容词
His face turned pale when he heard the news.
The leveas were turning yellow.
Her face turned red with angry when she see Marry.

  1. get:其后只能接表生气/激动的形容词
    He got angry.
    Tips:
    ①be getting more and more 可接任意名词/形容词
    She is getting more and more beautiful.
    Things are getting more and more better.
    ②get+p.p.=be +p.p.表被动
    He got killed in the accient.
    If you are not carefull, you will get hurt.

4.appear:appear to do 似乎
He semms to know it.
但在seem+to+be+名词/形容词,to be可省略
He seems to be happy.
=He seems happy.

He seems to be a nice man.
=He seem a nice man.

5.感官动词:只能加形容词。look/sound/smell/taste/feel
His idea sounds good.
I feel tired now.
It looks interesting.
①非要接名词。+like(介词)+n
It sounds like a good idea.
The food tastes like fish.
②feel like + 名词—感觉
feel like + 动名词—想要
When Jane said she would marry me, I felt like a newborn baby.
I feel like taking a walk today.
=I would like to take a walk today.
④feel/taste/smell可做完全及物动词。其意思变成摸/尝/闻
The doctor felt my forehead and said I had a fever.
Don’t taste that foot.
He smelled something burning.

6.look:look与介词连用做及物动词
look at =watch
look into=investigate
look over=examine
He look at me happily.
=He looks happily at me.

He look into the case carefully.
=He look carefully into the case.

其他:
John fell ill and he could not attend school today.
fall的过去式,翻译为‘变成’。
He soon fell asleep.

Foods ran short.
I don’t know how he came to be so popular.
The document proved to be a forgery.
