    针对 How far are we from solving the 2D & 3D Face Alignment problem? (and a dataset of 230,000 3D facial landmarks)该论文提出的FAN网络,根据作者提供的pytorch源码,对FAN-2D网络,进行了详细分析解读。

    下图为FAN-2D以及2D-to-3D模型的结构:

    其中前半部分一直到Heatmaps为FAN-2D的模型结构。也是我下面要详细介绍的部分。

    而FAN-2D-to-3D为两部分的组合,先是类似FAN-2D的结构得到人脸的2Dheatmaps,再把得到的heatmaps以及原图作为下一级网络(源码中称为Face Alignment depth Network)的输入,得到每个关键点的z深度坐标信息。

源码中FAN-2D网络设计

    从源码可以看出,FAN网络架构还是比较简单的:一个base的头网络+4个迭代的hourglass模块的堆叠。其中每个hourglass模块应该是属于四阶的Hourglass,并且其中bottleneck blocks相比原始版本,被替换为新的分层、并行和多尺度block。
