When it comes to the issue whether students should be allowed to take devices like computer, tablet or phone when taking classes, people's opinion differs from person to person and culture to culture. Some hold that students should take such devices as they really distract students from concentrating on the learning materials. While others argue that students can absorb more knowledge with the assist of modern technologies. In my opinion, I support the follow one for reasons below.

 

Firstly, devices like tablet gives students better experience when taking notes. Ordinarily, before the invention of table, student need to take various large notebooks for different subjects which can pretty heavier for tine and weak students to carry. While what the students only need to take is a light tablet. What's more, when the professor changes the pages in the screen too fast, it is really a headache problem for the students to keep notes on what's going on, while a tablet can greatly ease students with the function of taking a phone. So, students can focus on what the professors are discussing without the worries of taking notes.

 

Secondly, computers give students better experience for search for things unknown.  Had the student not had the computer with them, whenever he finds a term that he forgets, he would have to check it when the class is dismissed if others around cannot give him a hand. Additionally, somethings there are also a list of things waiting for the student before the students could squeeze some time available to learn the things which he confused in the classroom, which may finally appear at the finally examination. So, in this case, it is really a bonus to have a computer at hand and check the items whenever the students need to do so. Namely, students can solve the study problem for the very beginning.

 

Thirdly, phones offer students better opportunities to interact with professors.  It is really a hard task for the students really have a good look if the professors write somethings on the blackboard too small, while students can remind the professor at once just through sending some words to the professor very easily.  Professors who what to check whether the students understand the new ideas well can just send students some questions via some apps which could set time limit and at the time provide the professors with the correct rate for each of the problems. As a result, the professor can know which parts he should better illustrate without analyzing himself.

 

In conclusion, the devises like computers, tablets and phones really have benefits to both the students and professors.
