When it comes to the issue about whether it is more important for old people to take physical exercise, people's opinion differs from person to person, and culture to culture. Some people argue that old people tend to have worse health condition that need more exercise than the young. While others hold that physical exercise is invaluable and of highest priority for both the young and the old. As far as I am concerned, latter one is better.

 

Admittedly, as people grow older, the body conditions become worse and worse. Many old people in my communities do exercise not only at morning also in the evening. Even though some of them are more than eighty, they just seem like at their 50s. These people are really play an important role in local communities. Many of them have retired and received good education, and they constantly helping the young to prepare for their later success, for example they teach kids to reading books and help young generation do some housework. Hadn't they had enough exercise to keep them energetic, many young would need to spare some time to take care of their which would make their work performance suffered, because they probably don't have the energy to both taking care of the old and promoting in their own career. It is just old people's exercise that make both the old enjoy their life and bonus the young.

 

On the other hand, fitness is also of supreme importance for young. Numerous young lives have been deprived by diseases when these young people just finished excellent education and should make contributions to the society. In vain, they have been toiled and moiled for decades of intensive and continuing study after they went to other world because of overwork. However, had these young people reserved some time every day to do physical exercise, they would probably have better chances to escape from the misfortune of ill health. It is the physical exercise that can make the young enjoy longevity and happiness, which is the prerequisite for their later achievements and contributions in their talented fields.

 

Furthermore, for young people, they are more easily to develop an exercise hobby which benefits their whole life. Many old people would do physical exercise when they have been exercising for years. Also, for those who seldomly did any work out when they were young, they would simply stick to this habit even though their friends invite them to take a work. Additionally, many old people can exercise because they keep exercising and they are strong enough to do some sports, while others just have trouble to do even the mildest walk because of lack of exercise and decaying health. So, doing exercising when young can not only benefit the young at the moment, this habit can bonus them when they are old. On the contrary, even though some old want to cultivate the habit of exercising and keep them healthy, they may find it hard or even impossible when they already too reluctant or weak to do so.

 

To sum up, even though physical exercise is indispensable for old, it is even more important for young to keep healthy by working out because they need to make more contributions to the society. Furthermore, the exercise habit is more easily to develop for young which can benefit their whole lifetime.
