This indicates that the selected topology is more adequate to keep the |IM3| small in comparison with resistive and capacitive degeneration topology, where such cancellation does not exist. The joint effect of g3 and g2 coefficients in |IM3| is inversely dependent on the bias ( Vgs- Vt）, indicating that the linearity can be improved by increasing gate source voltage. However, increasing the gate source voltage will increase the power dissipation. With large Yol and gml values and small gm2 value is increased such that the linearity will be increased. For the same reason, any increase in Ct(=Cgs+Cex), preserving the matching condition in the input circuit, also improves the linearity.

By using Cex, the minimum noise figure and the noise resistance expressions for power-constrained simultaneous noise and input matching technique will not deteriorate.

This design optimization technique suggest that, by using an additional capacitor, Cex, the LNA can be designed to archive power-constrained simultaneous noise and input matching as well as satisfy the linearization condition. The limitations of the PCSNIM(power-constrained simultaneous noise and input matching功耗受限情况下NF和输入匹配同步优化) technique are high Rn and low effective cut-off frequency. High Rn can be a serious limitation for the practical high yield LNA design.

Summary：

1、增加栅压可以提升线性度；

2、在匹配不变的情况下，增加Cex NF不会变差，线性度会提高，有效截止频率降低。

One of the simple ways to improve the power gain of LNA is using positive feedback. This phenomenon can be understood by another point of view as the form of oscillator. CgsM2, Cf, and M2 constitutes an oscillator topology with inductive termination at the output. The effect of the positive feedback will increase maximum available gain of the cascode amplifier at high frequencies. The limit to amount of feedback is governed by stability consideration.
