LDPCcode

LDPC code (Low Density Parity Check Code) is a type of block code characterized by long code length, strong error correction ability, and low decoding complexity. It has been widely used in communication, storage, and other fields. The encoding method is to obtain the codeword through the product of a sparse matrix, and during decoding, the received codeword is transformed into the original data through a check matrix. The main problems faced by LDPC codes are encoding complexity and encoding delay, but fortunately, the sparsity of the parity check matrix makes encoding LDPC codes possible. LDPC code classification can be divided into regular LDPC codes and irregular LDPC codes, with differences in their construction methods, resulting in different decoding algorithms.
