1、carry out  进行，开展，执行

eg. 1）We need to carry out this work as soon as possible. 我们需要尽快开展这项工作

      2）The building work was carried out by a local constractor. 建筑工程由当地承包商进行

2、take over  接管

eg. 1）I just took over the job. 我才接管这项工作

      2）I think you should take over the business.  我觉得你应该来接管公司

3、knuckle down  开始认真工作，专注在工作上

        eg. 1）It's time to knuckle down. 是时候要认真工作了

4、hand in  上交，递交

eg. 1）He has already handed in his report.  他已经递交了他的报告

5、knock off  结束工作，下班，收工

eg. 1）Let's knock off early tonight.  我们今晚提前收工吧

      2）Let's knock off for lunch.  我们收工吃午饭吧

6、call out  引起注意，提出值得注意的地方

eg. 1）I want to call out this problem for all of you.  我想向你们所有人提出这个问题

      2）I have to call out the risk of this project.  我必须要提出这个项目的风险

7、call off  取消

eg. 1）She just called off the meeting.  她刚刚把会议取消了

8、slack off  偷懒，摸鱼

eg. 1）Workers usually slack off on Fridays.  员工们通常周五会摸鱼

9、work out  如期发生，进展顺利

eg. 1）This solution didn't work out.  这个解决办法没有用

      2）Things have worked for us.  事情对我们来说进展顺利
