This poses a huge problem for the Obama Administration

Perhaps, you've seen the statistic that no president has gotten re-elected when the unemployment rate was above 7. 5% since Franklin Delano Roosevelt. This poses a huge problem for the Obama Administration, as the Republicans are asking the federal government to stop deficit spending. If the United States can keep up the GDP or slips back into a double dip recession, or finds more job losses, or very, very few new job openings, then it is quite possible President Obama will not get re-elected.

There was an interesting piece on FOX news recently "President Obama Pleads Patience on the Economic Recovery" which aired on June 11, 2011. However, is it really fair after all the failings and missteps of the Obama Administration on their economic recovery plan, along with such things as; ObamaCare, Franks-Dodds' Financial Bill, and the attacks of the EPA on the fossil fuel industry to have patience now? Apparently, Obama is having a tough time trying to explain to the American People that unemployment numbers are not coming down despite the promises given after his streak of stimulus spending.

So, let me ask again; "Should the American People Give the Obama Administration a Pass on the Economy? " Absolutely not, no way, heck no! Of course, a lot can change between now and the 2012 presidential elections, a big war for instance, and war time Presidents do generally get re-elected. And President Obama swears that he will spend $1 billion to stay in the White House, meaning if he can get that level of funding in campaign contributions he might be able to overwhelm the media, and get reelected despite those statistics, which are stacked up against him.

Nevertheless, regardless of how much a president spends on his reelection campaign, and regardless of how many people get on Facebook to prop-up bad policies of this administration, perhaps it is time for the American people to simply say; "you had your chance, and your policies have failed, and unemployment has not recovered, nor has our recession substantially recovered. " Besides, it really truly appears that the Obama Administration has made quite a few mistakes in economic policy.

If you'll recall when Clinton got elected he kept saying; "it's the economy stupid, " and yet, perhaps the Obama Administration doesn't understand, doesn't care, or thinks it is above the will of the people when it comes to economic prosperity. Indeed, I hope you will please consider all this, and think on it. If you come up with a solid reason why President Obama should be reelected, please send me an e-mail, I'd love to hear your argument on that.
