As is known to all,gaining a sound knowledge of the basics is of vital importance for students to master an academic subject. I fully agree with the above opinion. I have two arguments to support it.
人们普遍认为，获得扎实的基础知识对学生掌握一门学科至关重要。我完全同意上述观点。我有两个理由来支持这一观点。
First of all,learning the basics helps students be prepared to master an academic subject.As everyone knows,learning is a step-by-step process.Students should start with the basic knowledge of an academic subject before they are able to reach a higher level.Moreover,the knowledge of the basics contains the universal law of a subject, which can be applied to different branches or the academic subject. Thus gaining a sound knowledge of the basics is necessary for mastering the knowledge of various branches of the academic subject.
首先，学习基础知识有助于学生为掌握一门学科做好准备。众所周知，学习是一个循序渐进的过程。学生应该从一门学科的基础知识开始，然后才能达到更高的水平。此外，基础知识包含了一门学科的一般规律，可以适用于该学科的不同分科。因此，获得扎实的基础知识对于掌握该学科各个分科的知识是必要的。
In conclusion,gaining a sound knowledge of the basics is extremely important for students to master an academic subject.It can not only help students be prepared for the future study but also help them master the knowledge of different branches of the academic subject.

Nowadays parents are increasingly aware that allowing kids more freedom to explore and learn on their own helps foster their independence and boost their confidence. They finally figure out the fact that since kids are born to be curious about the world, granting 2aF them such freedom can help them develop an independent and confident personality, which is beneficial to their growth.
如今，父母们越来越意识到，给孩子更多的自由去探索和独立学习有助于培差他们的独立性，增强他们的自信心。他们总算弄明自了这样一个事实，因为孩子们生来就对世界充满好奇，给他们这样的自由有助于他们养成独立和自信的性格，这对他们的成长是有益的。
For one thing, allowing kids to learn and explore independently enables them to do things on their own. Kids have an instinct for exploring the world by themselves.In the process of exploration, children need to constantly imagine and try, which help develop an independent character . Once parents give them more freedom，they can do many things independently. For another thing, kids can gain self-confidence in the process of free exploration and learning. They may encounter failures and setbacks but as long as they persevere and keep trying, they will achieve success and a sense of accomplishment, which will surely help boost their confidence to better face future challenges.
首先，让孩子们独立学习和探索使他们能够自己做事情。孩子们有自己探索世界的本能。在探索的过程中，孩子们需要不断地想象和尝试，这有助于培养他们独立的个性。一旦父母给他们更多自由，他们就能独立地做很多事情。另一方面，孩子们在自由探索和学习的过程中可以获得自信心。他们可能会遇到失败和挫折，但只要坚持去不断尝试，他们就会获得成功和成就感，这必定会增强他们的自信，使他们更好地面对未来的挑战。
To conclude, parents allowing kids more freedom to explore and learn on their own can make them more independent and confident. It has beneficial effect on the growth of kids in the long run .

Additionally,the sports clubs such as football and aerobics emphasize the importance of physical well-being. They foster teamwork and resilience, which are essential qualities in both sports and life. These clubs provide the necessary balance between academic pursuit and interest cultivation, ensuring the all-round development of students.

Today there is a growing awareness that mental well-being needs to be given as much attention as physical health. Mental health is critical to overall health and well-being, yet it has often been neglected.Mental health issues can impact anyone at any time, regardless of age, gender, or background.

First, mental well-being affects our happiness. When we have good mental well-being, we can experience positive emotions such as joy, gratitude, and satisfaction. These emotions can improve our mood, and make us more resilient to stress and adversity.Second, mental well-being has a great impact on our productivity. When we have good mental well-being, we can be more motivated, creative, and efficient in our work and studies. We can also cope better with challenges and difficulties. Third, mental well-being also has a great influence on our relationships. Mentally healthy people are not only more empathetic, compassionate, and cooperative with others, but also communicate better and resolve the conflict more effectively.

When faced with differing opinions, we should try to reach agreement through friendly discussion and reasonable argument.Friendly discussion and reasonable argument are beneficial in many ways.
面对不同意见，应通过友好讨论和合理论证达成一致。友好的讨论和合理的争论在许多方面都是有益的。
First of all, friendly discussion and reasonable argument can increase our knowledge. When we approach conversations with an open mind, we can broaden our horizons and learn from different perspectives, even if we ultimately disagree with them. Secondly, friendly discussion and reasonable argument can help us respect cach other. When we acknowledge the validity of other opinions and avoid personal attacks, we can show that we value the person behind the opinion. Thirdly, engaging in friendly discussion and reasonable argument is conducive to mutual understanding. We can reduce misunderstanding and hostility when we 'express our views clearly and politely, and respond to objections calmly and rationally, which can help build consensus and maintain a constructive dialogue.

On March 12, 2023, I participated in a career planning seminar, which consisted of three parts-alumni experience sharing, interactive discussions and a Q & A session.
To begin with, some alumni shared with us their personal experiences about job hunting and offered us some insightful tips on exploring career options. I was quite impressed by one alumnus' clear career plan, various hard and soft skills and excellent internship experience. Secondly, the seminar included interactive discussions where employers from yarious enterprises discussed job trends which were vital to the success of long-term career planning.In the following Q & A session, alumni and employers enthusiastically (#174)) answered plenty of questions about career planning.
In conclusion, the seminar, to a large extent, has helped me realize the necessity of career planning. Undoubtedly, we should attach great importance to planning our career, acquiring diverse skills, gaining internship experience, and keeping up with the latest job trends. Only in this way can we achieve a long-term career success.

People are now increasingly aware of the challenges in making a decision when faced with too many choices. We are faced with various choices since our childhood, such as choosing friends, schools, careers and so on. Different choices will surely bring different lives. Therefore, it is of great significance to make decisions carefully.
如今，人们越来越意识到在面对太多选择时做决定的挑战。从儿时起，我们就面临着各种各样的选择，如选择朋友、学校、职业等。不同的选择必将造就不同的人生。因此，谨慎地做决定意义重大。
From my perspective, there are both positive and negative aspects no matter what choice is made. Take us college students as an example. We are about to graduate and will face a dilemma of choosing whether to take the postgraduate entrance exam or hunt for jobs after graduation. On the one hand, pursuing postgraduate study can help us improve our academic level and lay a solid foundation for our future career development, while also requiring a lot of time and effort. On the other hand, going to work allows you to enter the workplace earlier and gain practical experience, as well as a certain amount of money. But in an increasingly competitive society, your career development may be limited by not having a distinguished educational background.

In short, any decision has two sides. We need to take our own actual situation into account in order to make a wiser choice.

People are now increasingly aware of the danger of "appearance anxiety", or being obsessed with one's looks. In such "face-judging" world, or a world of judging people by their appearance, many people, especially youngsters, have attached too much importance to their appearance. At the same time, people also come to realize the problems caused by appearance anxiety.
如今，人们越来越意识到“容貌焦虑”或沉迷于个人外表存在的风险。在这样一个“看脸”的世界（即以貌取人的世界），很多人，尤其是年轻人，过于注重自己的外表了。与此同时，人们也逐渐意识到容貌焦虑带来的问题。
In my opinion, excessive appearance anxiety is harmful to both our physical and mental health. For one thing, in order to pursue so-called "beauty", some people are blindly dieting to lose weight, resulting in malnutrition, anorexia and other diseases,also some people regard cosmetic surgery as the quickest and the most effective way to make them more beautiful. However, in case cosmetic surgery fails, there is a price to pay. In fact, some people have already paid the price with their lives. For another, under the influence of the concepts such as " the perfect body" and "the golden ratio of beauty" ,people tend to have self-doubt, thus putting all their energy into how to become good looking, instead of focusing on study and work.
在我看来，过度的容貌焦虑对我们的身心健康皆有危害。首先，为了追求所谓的“美”，有些人为了减轻体重盲目节食，以致于引发了营养不良，厌食症和其他疾病：也有些人把整容手术看作是使他们变得更美的最快、最有效的途径。然而，万一整容手术失败，就会付出代价。事实上，已经有一些人付出了生命的代价。再者，在“完美身材”和“美貌的黄金比例”等观念的影响下，人们往往会产生自我怀疑，因而把所有精力都放在如何变漂亮上，而不是专注于学习与工作。
There is a saying that the desire to look attractive is universal. But remember that appearance is not the only standard to measure one's value, and a person's inner beauty outweighs his/her appearance.

In recent years, we are striding forward into the digital world with the rapid development of the Internet. However, many old people are plagued by he "digita divide", facing many difficulties in shopping, medical care and payment and so on.
如今，人们越来越意识到老年人在数字世界中面临的“数字鸿沟“或挑战。近年来，随着互联网的迅速发展，我们正大步迈进数字世界。然而，许多老年人却饱受“数字鸿沟”的困扰，在购物、医疗服务、支付等方面面临诸多困难。
Then how can we help the elderly cross the "digital divide"? First of all, as the younger generation, we should pay more attentior to the needs of the elderly around us, patiently helping them learr how to chat by video, scan to pay, etc., which is beneficial to the communication and understanding between the elderly and the young. Secondly, the Government should put itself in the elderly' : place. While promoting intelligent services, it should also give duc consideration to the actual situation of the elderly population. Fos example, a social voluntary service system can be established so that the elderly can seek help from volunteers by phone or face to face.
那么我们如何帮助老年人跨越“数字鸿沟”呢？首先，作为较年轻的一代，我们应该更多关注身边老年人的需要，耐心帮助老年人学习如何视频聊天、扫码支付等，这有益于增进老年人与年轻人之间的交流和理解。其次，政府应设身处地为老人着想。在推广智能化服务的同时，政府也应适当考虑老年人口的实际情况。比如，可以建立社会志愿服务体系，以便老年人可以通过电话或面对面的方式向志愿者寻求帮助。
