monitor   显示器

        A monitor is an electronic device that is used to display computer signals.

       显示器是一种用来显示计算机信号的电子设备。

component   原件，成分，组成部分

        A component is one of multiple parts of something, usually performing an important role in the overall function of the whole.

       组件是某物的多个部分之一，通常在整体功能中扮演重要角色。

display   显示，展示（内容）

        A display is the image on a monitor screen.

       显示是显示器屏幕上的图像。

screen   屏，幕

        A screen is the surface part of a monitor that displays a computer's output.

       屏幕是显示器的表面部分，用来显示计算机的输出信息。

flat-panel   平板的

        If a monitor has a flat-panel display, it is much lighter and thinner than a monitor that has a CRT.

       如果显示器是平板显示器，它会比CRT显示器更轻更薄。

LCD（liquid crystal display） 液晶显示器

        An LCD（liquid crystal dispaly）is a display that uses crystals to show output on a computer screen.

       LCD(液晶显示器)是一种用晶体在计算机屏幕上显示输出的显示器。

CRT（cathode ray tube） 阴极射线管

        A CRT（cathode ray tube）is a vacuum tube used in older computer monitors.

       CRT(阴极射线管)是一种用于老式计算机显示器的真空管。

HD（high-definition） 高分辨率，高清晰度

        If a computer display is HD（high-definition), it has a higher resolution than a standard display.

       如果电脑显示器是高清的，它的分辨率比标准显示器更高。

pixel （显示器或电视机图像的）像素

        A pixel is a small unit on a display screen that is combined with many other units to produce an image. 

       像素是显示屏上的一个小单位，它与许多其他单位结合在一起产生一幅图像。

bitmap   位图，位映像

        A bitmap is an organization of bits or pixels that forms an image when it is displayed on a computer screen.

       位图是在计算机屏幕上显示时形成图像的位或像素的组织。

I/O device   输入/输出设备

        An I/O device is something to input/output data from a computer such as a mouse, keyboard, screen or printer.

       I/O设备是从计算机（如鼠标、键盘、屏幕或打印机）输入/输出数据的设备。

active matrices   有源矩阵

        Active matrices are display systems that control each of the pixels individually.

       活动矩阵是单独控制每个像素的显示系统。

frame buffer   帧缓冲器

        A frame buffer is part of a computer's memory that stores the images displayed on the screen before they are displayed.

       帧缓冲器是计算机内存的一部分，它在屏幕上显示图像之前存储图像。
