Linking OpenCV in KDevelop Tutorial

Make sure that OpenCV is properly installed.

Begin by opening a console window and executing the following code.
--cflags --libs opencv

The command console will return the neccessary library names you will need to link.
-lcxcore0.9.7
-lcv0.9.7
-lhighgui0.9.7
-lcvaux0.9.7

Open your KDE project, or create a new one if necessary. On the right side of the window, click the Automake Manager . A side window will open. Click the wrench to open the options window.

Options Button

Within the options window, click on the Libraries tab. Click the Add button and type in the library statements from the console window.
-lcxcore0.9.7
-lcv0.9.7
-lhighgui0.9.7
-lcvaux0.9.7

Library Linker Window

With the libraries properly linked and the necessary include statements in the code, you should have no trouble accessing OpenCV's array of functions.
