    \section{My Name}

    \ \ \ \ My name is {\bfseries XXX},
    but I am often referred to as {\bfseries Teddy van Jerry},
    which is my English name.
    Teddy van Jerry is also my account of CSDN blog.

    \begin{figure}[h]
        \centering
        \includegraphics[height=180pt]{CSDN blog.jpg}

        \caption{My CSDN blog \  (Till Oct.20 23:15)}
    \end{figure}

    I also use Teddy van Jerry as my name
    in my music compositions.

    Jerry was first named in the primary school,
    when English names were distributed by random.
    Then when I went to the middle school,
    I was hooked on teddy bears,
    adding `Teddy' before `Jerry'.
    Since almost everyone has a middle name,
    I chose `van'
    because one of my favourite composers
    \emph{Ludwig van Beethoven} has that word.

    In some way,
    I also admire XXX,
    so in some occasions I am called XXX.

    \section{My ID}

    \ \ \ \ My ID number is {\bfseries XXX},
    which includes information that I come from
    the Chien-Shiung Wu College of SEU Class X.
    Now in the freshman year,
    I am the class monitor of Class X,
    and I am also the Special Assistant to the President of SEU,
    which is a demanding job.

    My campus card number is XXX.

    \section{My Hometown}

        \ \ \ \ My homwtown is Changzhou,
        though neither of my parents are natives.
        Nevertheless, I grew up there
        and have developed a bond between Changzhou and I.

        \subsection{History and culture}

            \ \ \ \ Changzhou has a long history that
            dates back to more than 6000 years ago.
            It is also famous throught the history.

            In south China,
            surrounded by Suzhou, Wuxi and Nanjing,
            Changzhou is an artistic city,
            and a city that is willing to
            embrace different culture,
            accepting traditional Chinese culture
            and modern culture as well.
            So you can see historic buildings
            surrounded by skyscrapers.

            \begin{figure}[h]
                \centering
                \includegraphics[width = .9\textwidth]{Yancheng.jpg}
                \caption{Yancheng, symbol of the history of Changzhou}
            \end{figure}

        \subsection{Economy and population}

            \ \ \ \ In Jiangsu, the economy of Changzhou
            may not be that noticeable,
            but it is definately one of the strongest in China.
            In 2019, the GDP reaches over 740 billion yuan \cite{GDP},
            ranking number five in Jiangsu Province.

            But when you consider the population of Changzhou,
            you will find that Changzhou is still dynamic
            as average GDP is relatively higher.

            \begin{table}[h]
                \centering
                \caption{Year-end Households and Population of Changzhou from 1950 to 2015 \cite{Population}}
                \begin{tabular}{|c|c|c|}
                    \hline

                    & (one thousand households) & (one thousand persons) \\
                    \hline \hline
                    1950 & 423.7 & 1764.5 \\
                    \hline

                    \hline
                    1980 & 771.9 & 2959.2 \\
                    \hline
                    1985 & 882.1 & 3068.7 \\
                    \hline
                    1990 & 1069.1 & 3248.5 \\
                    \hline
                    1995 & 114.00 & 3336.5 \\
                    \hline
                    2000 & 1178.9 & 3414.8 \\
                    \hline
                    2005 & 1219.7 & 3516.3 \\
                    \hline
                    2010 & 1271.1 & 3608.0 \\
                    \hline
                    2015 & 1302.4 & 3708.5 \\
                    \hline
                \end{tabular}
            \end{table}

            From the table,
            we can see the steady growth of population.
            With the growth,
            which shows that Changzhou appeals to many people,
            Changzhou is bound to perform even better!

        \subsection{Public transport}

            \ \ \ \ Changzhou has a good reputation
            for its public transport,
            with train, bus, BRT, metro and possibly tram in the future.

            \subsubsection{BRT}

                \ \ \ \ BRT refers to `Bus Rapid Transit',
                and it is both cheap and efficient to use BRT.
                Changzhou is the pioneer of BRT in China.
                \cite{BRT}

            \subsubsection{Metro}

                \ \ \ \ Now Changzhou has one metro line,
                with more lines to be built in the future.

                \end{minipage}
                \qquad
                \begin{minipage}[t]{2in}
                    \centering
                    \includegraphics[height=110pt]{Metro.jpg}
                    \caption{Changzhou Metro}
                \end{minipage}
            \end{figure}

        \subsection{Envirenment}

        \ \ \ \ Changzhou is a beautiful city.
        From the balcony,
        I can view the beautiful Grand Canel.

        Recent years have witnessed more parks,
        which actually have linked up other parks,
        forming a belt alongside the canel,
        and that has become a popular place for a walk.
        \cite{Canel}

        One noticeable historic place is the Qingguo Alley.
        It combines the traditional architecture whith modern tourism,
        with loads of shops featuring in both tradtion and relaxation.
        \cite{Qingguo}
