During this sprint on character design for our game, I focused on creating unique, memorable characters that resonate with our audience. Yesterday, I brainstormed different character backstories, aiming to weave in diverse, rich narratives that add depth to the gameplay. Today, I sketched preliminary designs, experimenting with various styles to capture the essence of each character. The challenge was balancing originality with relatability, ensuring each character is distinctive yet feels like a natural part of the game world. This experience reinforced the importance of storytelling in character design and its impact on player engagement.
