激光分析仪连接到一个交换机，该交换机通过其上行链路端口连接到第二个以太网接口-X08。对于激光分析仪和交换机之间的连接，需要一根标准网络电缆。每个激光分析仪必须在与以太网接口相同的网络组中具有唯一的IP地址。第一个以太网接口-X09用于将AO2000连接到客户网络。

主变送器单元板有一个主保险丝和一些指示不同电源电压状态的LED：

•如果主保险丝旁边的LED（“18–36V输入正常”）亮起，但其他LED不亮，则必须检查保险丝。

•如果所有指示灯都是暗的，请检查设备的24 V电源。

•如果某些指示灯点亮，而其他指示灯未点亮，请记下指示灯的状态并联系ABB服务部门。主板可能需要更换。

启动顺序将确保激光器在打开之前被调到正确的温度，并且仪器在所有系统上执行自检。让仪器启动激光器大约5分钟。当激光器启动时，LCD可能会显示“激光器排列错误”和“低传输”。这是正常的，表明接收器和发射器单元未对准，即激光束未击中接收器单元内的探测器。
