1. "If I were you…": 🙋‍♀️；

// 提建议
使用虚拟语气时，我们要对“if”引导的从句使用过去时，同时在主句中添加情态动词，比方说“would (将，会)”和“could (能，可以)”。人们常用“If I were you, I would… (我要是你，我会…)”和“If I were you, I wouldn't… (我要是你，我就不会…)”两个句式来提建议。

5. full refund: n.全额退款；

1. Do your research

//提前调查
Before walking into a store with a return, do some research about that store's return and exchange policies. Be prepared and keep an open mind about what you'll receive for your return. 
在进店退货前，一定要了解下这家店的退换货规定。提前了解好自己退货后能得到什么补偿。

2. Is there something wrong with it?

//检查商品缺陷
Many sellers will offer you a full refund if you've bought a faulty item.
如果你购买的商品有缺陷，许多商家是愿意退全款的

3. Know the right time to try a return

// 找好退货时机
Try going at a less busy time. The busier the store is, the longer the line. And the longer the line, the more likely it is that the representative will be feeling bothered.
最好在商家清闲的时候去退货。商铺越忙，退款的队伍就会越长。而队伍越长，负责退货的店员也会愈加不耐烦。

4. Don’t wait too long

//别耽误太久
Many stores have 30 to 60 day limits on returns and exchanges. 
许多商店仅限在30或60天内退换货物

4. Try and keep tags on and have the receipt

//尽量保存好标签和小票
Making a return with tags on and the receipt is a lot easier.
拿着标签和小票去退货自然是事半功倍的。
If you don't have the receipt, some stores will accept another form of "proof of purchase," such as your credit card statement or the packaging the item came in.
但如果你没带购物小票，有些商家也同意把信用卡账单或商品包装当作退货凭据。
