If your IP phone has already been configured the 'display name' (NOT extension number), you may found that the IP Phone you called cannot show your 'display name' correctly.
The reason is, you configured 'firstname' and(or) 'lastname' in 3CX 'extension' setting. Therefore, 3CX will replace 'dispaly name' with its settings.
If you don't want replace 'dispaly name', just leave the setting(s) blank. 3CX will transport 'dispaly name' which originated by caller to the destination.
