To sum up

If you are create a simple membership site,then use wishlist because it is simple.

If your members over 10000.choose other product such as ?It seems that wishlist will slow down your site at this time.

( There is another product  here  for those needing something more robust. )

Hey Guys, 

Stu McLaren here (one of the WLM creators). 

To answer the scalability question, if you had 15,000+ people you would probably feel some slow downs not because of the software but more because of the server. 

You would need to isolate the database to a different server since there would be so many people logging in and out accessing the database. 

The performance of your site with that many people will largely depend on how your server can handle the load. If it's optimized, then you shouldn't have a problem. 

So WLM can handle growth but the big question you'll need to answer is, can your server handle the growth?
