etc is a written abbreviation for ‘et cetera’.

这个不用多说了，用在罗列的末尾，表示并没有完全列出。句点不可丢掉，除非是在句子末尾也可由句号替代，et就是and的意思。不能指代人，指代人用的是et al.。不能和e.g.连用。
e.g.

e.g. is an abbreviation for ‘exempli gratia’ that means ‘for example’.

举例子，翻译成英语等于for example，常和i.e.混淆，但其实两个词意思不同，i.e.的意思是‘that is/in other words’。
per se

Per se means ‘by itself’ or ‘in itself’.

我觉得是“就其本身来说，就起本质来说”的意思。

The authors’ argument is not with the free market per se but with the western society in which it works.
作者的观点在本质上不是有关自由市场的而是它所在的西方社会体质。

Global warming per se is not really the problem; the catastrophic climate changes which might be caused by it are.
全球变暖本身不是问题，它导致的灾难性的气候变化才是。

vice versa
翻译成中文就是“反之亦然”。

Women may bring their husbands with them, and vice versa.
女士可以带着她们的丈夫，反之亦然。

viz.
这个比较少见，用于罗列，但是必须是完整罗列，用法和e.g.类似，或者重复一句话的内容，在这种情况下和i.e.类似。

He likes some fruits, viz., apples and oranges.
他喜欢某些水果，（只有）苹果和橙子。

N.B.

N.B. is ‘nota bene’, equal to note well.

意思就是记好，注意啦！后面一般接一个比较重要的东西。第一次遇到是在雅思考试中，哈哈哈。
status quo

Status quo means the existing state of affairs, especially regarding social or political issues.
大致意思是现状，根据语境可以用做政策现状，社会现状，这个词使用频率意外的高，在外国新闻报道和报纸上经常看到。
