UE4小技巧

1.UE4代码调试:

a. Build代码调试:
UE4打包坑点比较多,如果卡在了C#阶段,我们可以直接在C#代码下断点,调试Programs下的AutomationTool,方法:
右键AutomationTool -> Property ->Debug,在Command line arguments里填好打包参数,如果调试即可;
但如果是卡在了C#调起的C++程序,不是同一个进程,就无法断点到了,这个时候就要找到C++的入口(就是C#调起C++的地方),直接调试对应的C++模块;
举个例子:比如Cook阶段报错,我们通过AutomationTool先找到Cook的调用(UE4.22版本):

断点发现是调用了UE4Editor.exe,在就好办了,右键UE4项目,同理Property里填好参数:

-run=cook <ProjectPath> -targetplatform=<Plat1>+<Plat2>

然后调试UE4项目,就可以断点到CookCommandlet的代码了。

b. 游戏代码调试:
大部分的代码我们可以通过Editor模式调试,对于非Editor代码我们可以通过以下方法调试:
项目右键→Property→Debugging→Command Arguments里加"-game",这有点像直接起了一个Windows版的免安装包

c. Windows调试:
如果想对打包出来的Win64.exe调试,还是项目右键→Property→Debugging,
Command:填.exe的绝对路径;
Commander Arguments:填-game就好;
Working Directory:填.exe的文件夹路径

如果有些问题在Editor阶段无法重现,想对打包好的Win64应用调试,可以用这种方式

d. 移动端调试
UE4为我们提供了Project Launcher,可以直接调试移动平台。

2.执行外部.exe程序

3.Pak合并

UE4关于Pak的操作都在PakFileUtilities.cpp中,基本的生成,提取,Diff,Patch功能都有了,唯独没有Merge功能,这里简单添加一下:
