从句表原因

because

• I was tired after my journey because I had been driving non-stop for several hours. 旅行后我很累，因为我已经连续开了几个小时的车。

as/since

• As/Since I had been driving non-stop for several hours, I was tired after my journey. 因为我已经连续开了几个小时的车，所以旅行后很累。
• 两者的小区别
  • as/since 被放在句首的情况比较多。
  • as/since更强调结果，because更强调原因。

the reason (why) … is that …

• the reason (why) 结果 is that 原因，why可以省略。
• The reason why the string broke was that it was under great tension. 绳子断了的原因是它受到了很大的拉力。
