前言

打基础部分，要一直持续一个多月，这部分主要涉及的还是听说读写四部分所需要的词汇与语法。

文章内容主要是今日所有课程的笔记。今天的重点是语法部分。

我自己总是习惯轻视语法。结果学习了这么多年的英语，还是半吊子水平。这个观念一定要转变过来，**语法真的超级重要。**无论是口语，写作还是阅读。而且在语法上花费的时间根本微不足道，反而他会让你整个学习进程加速。

主谓宾结构

雇主不应该因为员工的性别而歧视他们。
Employers should not discriminate against workers because of their gender.
学生会因为成绩好而有成就感。
Students would get a sense of achievement from good academic performence.

注意：
1. sense 可数
2. performance不可数
人类各种活动都有可能导致很多动植物品种的灭绝。
A range of human activities can cause the extinction of many species of animals and plants.

主谓

公司聘用专家可以迅速发展。
Companies can develop rapidly by recruiting specialists.
can develop：情态动词加不及物动词原形做谓语
好老师可以作为积极的榜样。
Good teachers can act as positive role models.
两种分析：
- 主谓：
  can act：情态动词加不及物动词原形做谓语
  as positive role models：介词词组做整个句子的状语
- 主谓宾
  can act as：情态动词加不及物动词加介词做谓语
  positive role models 名词词组做宾

主谓双宾

政府通过征税可以向公众提供更好的医疗服务。

the goverment can offer the public better medical services by imposing taxes.

can offer（情态动词加动词原形做谓语）

the public（间接宾语） better medical services（名词词组做直接宾语）

主谓宾宾补

一些人认为拥有奢侈品是地位的象征。

Some individuals regard having luxuries as a status symbol.

having luxuries（doing词组做宾语）

廉价航空使更多人能负担长途旅行。

Cheap air travel have made long-distance trips affordable for more people.

has made（动词的完成时态做谓语）

long-distance trips（名词词组做宾语）

affordable（形容词做宾补，补充说明trips的信息）

就算有挑战和挫折，毅力也可以使我们继续追求梦想。

Perseverance can drive us to pursue our dreams despite challenges and setbacks.

主系表

很多职业只对男性开放。

A wide range of occupations are available to men.

are（系动词）
only（副词做形容词available 的状语）
available（表语）

电视上很多娱乐频道都可以是快乐和享受的来源。

A huge variety of entertainment channels on TV are a source of fun and enjoyment.

被动

化妆品包装应该标明副作用的警告。

Warnnings about side effects should be displayed on cosmetics packets.

should be displayed（情态动词加被动语态的原形做谓语）

作为国家遗产的一部分，古建筑应该被保护。

As part of a country’s heritage, historic buildings should be protected.

替代药物需要接受科学检测。

Alternative medicines need to be tested scientifically.

need（谓语）
to be tested（to do 的被动形式to be done 做宾语）

并列

人们可以在不同的职业再次培训，他们也可以学到不同的技能。

People can retrain in a different career, and they can learn different skills.

政府需要投资很多钱去改善设备和训练运动员，而公共服务可能就会缺少资金。

Governments have to invest a great deal of money in improving facilities and training athletes, and there might be a lack of funds for public services.

there might be（there be 句型，be 前加了情态动词）
a lack（主语）
of funds（介词词组做lack的后置定语）
for public services（介词词组做funds 的后置定语；或者也可以看做做第二个并列句整个句子的状语）
