rqt: cannot connect to X server

Question:
~$ rqt -s kobuki_dashboard
rqt: cannot connect to X server

Reason:
Use machine 2 remotely control machine 1 by ssh, and want to see the window on machine 2. Try using ssh with the -X option, this will enable X forwarding.

Solution:

$ ssh -X username@Ip_of_machine 1

$ rqt -s kobuki_dashboard
