We are entering an era when more and more smart objects are interconnected around us. The collabration will create new value and bring profit to corporations.

Just this week, I was busying in taking exams for a driving certificate. It's boring and awful. Maybe if driverless vehicle becomes a reality, we can really release ourself. Although we already had an emergency braking system for vehicles, just like Bosch assitance systems, there is still long paces for automotive providers. Recently, Volvo had tried to pilot a cloud service for car-to-car communications that can warn drivers of dangerous road conditions. It can also connect car to traffic lights.

But that is the beginning, I think. Just as I told in the previous article, cross-sectors will be the mainstream. The wearable will bring fitness and healthcare together, cars also cut the boundary between automotive and insurance.

Uber, the world's largest taxi company, had proposed it's curbside  breathalyzer service recently. The drunk-driving messaging can be a indicator or reference for insurers. The insurers can also detect whether the driver conservative or impulsive from the historical data, then predict his/her further insurance expenses. In fact, this model can be adopted to many fields, for instance, physicians and patients, teachers and students.

According to IT insight, consumer's impression is the key for success. It will lead to great brand reputation and further development. So many IoT providers are aiming at  SmartHome, wearables and fitness. Convenient is their purpose. But to industry plants, they pay more attention to cost-saving, efficient, reliability, scalability and sustainability. But I think, they don't conflict between each other, with cross-sectors fusion, the organizations should consider both sides. For example, BYOD will connect persons and corporations together. We should keep balance between personality and productivity. Great corporations have realised an engage workplace drive better outcomes.

Value creation has moved from providing real products to promoting impressive services. The organizations which can first provide successful software services will gain revenue and flowers.
