汉译英早操练-（十七）

        hello大家好，又到了汉译英早操练“开心一刻”~ 今天来继续学习政府工作报告。

        作为权威其重要性可想而知。而且之所以在翻译界一定是权威，主要还是政府工作报告汉语的表述非常的书面化，普通的理解翻译必定非常机械，不够准确，不够流畅。今天我们就来对比学习大师们的杰作。

        今天的内容播报如下：

        一年来，我们深入学习贯彻党的二十大和二十届二中全会精神，按照党中央决策部署，主要做了以下工作。

        

一是加大宏观调控力度，推动经济运行持续好转。针对严峻挑战和疫后经济恢复特点，我

们统筹稳增长和增后劲，突出固本培元，注重精准施策，把握宏观调控时、度、效，加强

逆周期调节，不搞“大水漫灌”和短期强刺激，更多在推动高质量发展上用力，全年经济运

行呈现前低中高后稳态势。围绕扩大内需、优化结构、提振信心、防范化解风险，延续优

        一、【深入学习】词汇辨析

        “deeply studied”强调的是研究或学习的深度，侧重于对事物内在本质、深层次含义或复杂性的理解和掌握。

        “thoroughly studied”则强调的是研究或学习的全面性和彻底性，侧重于对事物各个方面的详细了解和综合把握。

        本文应该用 thoroughly studied

        二、【精神】词汇辨析

        “the guiding principles”通常与具体的决策、政策或行动相关联，强调其指导性和规范性；        

         “the spirit of”则更多地用于描述一种氛围、信仰或价值观，强调其激励性和感召力。

        本文应该用：the guiding principles

        三、【按照】词汇辨析

        “according to”通常用于引入信息或事实的来源，以支持或解释某个观点或判断。

        “in accordance with”则更多地用于强调行为或决策与某种标准或要求的一致性，以确保其合理性和有效性。

        本文应用：in accordance to

         四、官文的翻译符合简明英语的原则，在抽象名词和具体名词之间，往往选择具体名词。拿【中央决策部署】来说，如果字对字的翻译肯定要找到政策部署这个词的对应英文，【 decision-making and deployment】，而官文给的【the decisions and plans】翻译就更近了一步，将决策部署再一次细化成为【决定和计划】，非常具体化、形象化，内容更加清晰，表达更准确。

第二句：

         一是加大宏观调控力度，推动经济运行持续好转。

        Firstly, we enhanced adjustment and control power to promote economic development, which continuely becoming better.

        一、拼写错误：continually

        二、搭配错误：continually becomming better这个是持续向好，跟过去时不能搭配在一起。

        可以使用continues to become better.

        We strengthened macro regulation and promoted steady economic recovery and growth.

        三、参考译文当中，宏观调控：macro regulation 

       四、句子结构方面，官文也将前后两部分视为非递进关系，是并列关系，表达成了 a and b.

第三句：

        针对严峻挑战和疫后经济恢复特点，我们统筹稳增长和增后劲，突出固本培元，注重精准施策，把握宏观调控时、度、效，加强逆周期调节，不搞“大水漫灌”和短期强刺激，更多在推动高质量发展上用力，全年经济运行呈现前低中高后稳态势。

           According to the harsh challenge and economic recovery characteriests of after-epedimic, We balanced stable growth with gaining more power to development and paid attention to  accuratepolicy that  the time, degree and effectivity of macro-control were timely controlled. We strenghened adjuestment of reverse-cycle which objecting to policies of  deluge of stimulus or short-time stimulus and making more effort to high quatity development. The annually economic trand was shown as low-level in the beginning and high-level in the middle and stability in the end.

        一、这句话内容丰富，结构不是平直的，可以切分小句子表达。切分的原则是【意思团】，所谓【意思团】是围绕一件事儿的小句子放在一句话当中说，如果表达的意思跟前面有因果可以切开，又转折可以切开。

        本句可以这样理解

        状语【 针对严峻挑战和疫后经济恢复特点，】

        正面做的事儿【我们统筹稳增长和增后劲，突出固本培元，注重精准施策，把握宏观调控时、度、效，】

        反对的事儿【加强逆周期调节，不搞“大水漫灌”和短期强刺激，更多在推动高质量发展上用力，】   

        总结陈词【，全年经济运行呈现前低中高后稳态势。】

        二、搞定结构接下来就要搞定词汇表达的准确性。

        后疫情经济： after-epedimic->post-Covid

       统筹== 采取一直步调来...==took coordinated steps to

        固本培元==增强根基，并采取有针对性的措施==gave priority to consolidating the foundations of the economy and taking targeted steps.

        时、度、效==时效性高，强度，效果== proper timing, intensity, and effect 

        短期强刺激: short-time stimulus measures -->short-term stimulus measures

         In light of grave challenges and the particular conditions of the post-Covid economic

recovery, we took coordinated steps to ensure stable growth and sustain its momentum,

and gave priority to consolidating the foundations of the economy and taking targeted

steps. We ensured the proper timing, intensity, and effect in conducting macro

regulation,and strengthened counter-cyclical adjustments. We refrained from resorting

to a deluge of stimulus policies or strong short-term stimulus measures, and made

greater efforts to promote high-quality development. Over the course of the year,

China’s economy experienced a slow start, but reached a midyear peak and achieved

stable growth in the latter stage. 

    

        一、【针对】词汇辨析

        “in light of”更多强调的是对某种情况或信息的理解和考虑，

        “according to”则更侧重于信息或观点的出处或依据。

         二、增后劲==保持势头==sustain its momentum

第四句：

        绕扩大内需、优化结构、提振信心、防范化解风险，延续优化一批阶段性政策，及时推出一批新政策，打出有力有效的政策组合拳。

        We timely adopted new policies after staggable policies of extending domestic need, optimizing constructure, enhancing confidence, preventing and defusing risks and continuous optimization, which contributing to effective and powerful policies.

        一、拼写错误： staggable-->staged

        二、语法错误：need--》needs ；constructure->structure 注意这个词儿：constructure 不是一个标准的英语词汇，摒弃使用。

        动词时，“structure”则表示“组织”、“构建”或“安排”，强调的是将各个部分组合成一个整体的过程。

        which引导的未限定定语从句，缺少谓语：which contributing to--> which contributed to

        

        To expand domestic demand, improve the economic structure, bolster confidence, and prevent and defuse risks, we adopted a full range of robust and effective policies, namely, extending and improving a number of time-limited policies and rolling out a new batch of timely policies.

        一、标准翻译理解是【扩大内需、优化结构、提振信心、防范化解风险】是目的，【延续优化一批阶段性政策，及时推出一批新政策，打出有力有效的政策组合拳。】时动作。

     【目的状语 to do sth.】，【主语we 】【动词adopt】,【插入语namely】,【同位语从句】解释说明了政策。

        这句理解较难，上文翻译理解跟官文有偏差。
