hemolymph 血淋巴是指：血淋巴(Haemolymphe)是无脊椎动物血腔内流动的血样液体，无色，兼具血液和淋巴样组织液的特性，内含血细胞，间质液和血浆，可占动物体中的30-40%。主要起营养物质运输，温度调节和创伤愈合的作用。拥有血淋巴的动物有属于开放性循环系统（初级体腔和次级体腔的融合）的软体动物、节肢动物和尾索动物。

既然这个文章已经证明starvation 可以增加血淋巴里抗菌肽的活性。我就想，是不是可以和海绵的细胞联系起来？是不是可以揭示海绵细胞是否 血淋巴功能？

 

 

较原始的两支多细胞动物种类--腔肠动物和扁形动物，不存在血液。
更高级些的一支动物--线形动物，其假体腔内的体腔液具有类似血液作为循环系统的功能，但不能称之为血液。
在线形动物和棘皮动物之间的一类后来发展成软体动物、环节动物以及节肢动物，这一些动物发展成的种类很多，大多数具有较为完备的血液循环系统。
棘皮动物--比软体动物、环节动物、节肢动物共同祖先高级的一支，具有围血系统，可以说具有血液。

再后来发展出的脊索动物，就全都具有血液循环系统了。

AMP很重要在昆虫体液先天性免疫中。 主要受toll和immune deficiency (IMD) pathways调节。

FoxO是insulin-like signaling (ILS) pathway下游的一个重要的调节因子。

We discovered that antibacterial activity in the hemolymph of B. mori larvae was increased by starvation, and expression of AMP genes (BmCecB6, BmAtta1, BmLeb3 and BmDefB) as well as the ILS target genes (FoxO, InR and Brummer) were strongly activated in the fat body by starvation. 我们发现，饥饿的形况下，在家蚕血淋巴里的抗菌肽活性增强，脂肪体里的抗菌肽基因以及ILS靶基因都强烈增强。

饥饿后家蚕细胞里的AKT激酶磷酸化水平降低，提示ILS通路被饥饿所抑制。在正常条件下，家蚕细胞胞浆中存在较多FOXO蛋白，饥饿8h后细胞核中FOXO含量较高，说明FOXO被饥饿激活。

In the ILS pathway, FoxO is phosphorylated by Akt kinase to activate a variety of downstream proteins involved in different physiological processes such as carbohydrate metabolism, cell-cycle, and apoptosis。 
Under normal nutrition condition, activation of Akt leads to phosphorylation of FoxO, which is then retained in the cytoplasm。正常营养情况下，AKT能导致FxoO磷酸化，并保留在细胞质中，从而FoxO介导的基因转录受到抑制。所以不饥饿情况下，foxO在细胞质中比较多，。然而，在缺乏营养的情况下，AKT不能磷酸化FoxO导致未磷酸化FOXO入核及下游基因的上调。

we aim to explore if starvation can activate expression of AMPs in B. mori by reducing the ILS level. Our results showed that starvation can increase the antibacterial activity in the hemolymph of B. mori larvae, reduce the level of ILS, and activate the downstream ILS transcription factor FoxO, leading to translocation of the FoxO into the nucleus to regulate expression of AMPs.
